YogaJaya aims to offer a balanced approach to yoga. YogaJaya therefore regularly invites top international teachers of different styles and backgrounds to visit and teach in Tokyo. Such workshops will be conducted primarily in English, but with Japanese interpreters. Workshop attendance is subject to availability and space, so students should make an advanced booking.

The YogaJaya TT has outsourced sections to various recognized yoga facilitators experienced in self-inquiry, self-analysis, yoga philosophy, and contemporary cross-cultural ethics.

YogaJaya believes that to become a good teacher, it is most important to study oneself and allow flexibility in welcoming change through a compassionate approach. The YogaJaya TT is set up to be an ideal platform for this transformation.

Basic hatha yoga course with
Hikaru Brundtland

3 weekends - January 12, 13, 20 and 27, 2008.

This is a basic course designed to help beginners understand the dynamics of yoga posture techniques with correct breathing and intro to basic yoga philosophy. Beginner students who complete this course will be ready to attend YogaJaya level 1 to 3 led public classes.
