In adulthood, after spending three years as a rank-and-file company employee, Ken became a graphic designer. Nevertheless, despite the fact that his life was stimulating and challenging, Ken gradually found himself becoming increasingly uncomfortable about having to set a fixed boundary between his work and his personal life. Through a lifetime of various trial-and-error experiences, Ken gradually became interested in yoga in general and then, in the deeper concepts of yoga.
In his process of learning about yoga, Ken discovered YogaJaya and the vision of its founder Patrick Oancia, intuitively feeling that he had found his true interest and enrolling and completing the YogaJaya International Teacher Training. The training exposed Ken to perspectives completely different from his own preconceptions, both shocking and exciting him at once with a newly discovered possibility of learning to express elements of his identity drawn from deep within himself. Through dedication, a continuing pursuit of self, and a desire to simultaneously retain the identity of who he already was, Ken now meets the challenges of self-definition and self-discovery each and every day in his daily life. Ken is a YogaJaya Accredited Teacher (YJAT) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance.
